Times Colonist highlights changes to the Motor Vehicle Act

Victoria city Councillors have requested to review and modernize the Motor Vehicle Act to protect cyclists and pedestrians. The Times Colonist highlights the Road Safety Law Reform Group, whose aim is to fight for improvements to the Motor Vehicle Act so we see greater harm reduction. Among the group are representatives from the legal community, including chair of the Road Safety Law Reform Group, Bike Lawyer, David Hay, Q.C., who is regularly consulted by the media to comment on bike-related issues, cyclists’ rights, and improvements to the Act.
