Sze-Mei Yeung presented at SFU on IP Ownership and Contractual Issues

Sze-Mei Yeung presented to a group of Simon Fraser University graduate students and post-doctoral fellows on September 11, 2014, together with representatives from the SFU Innovation Office. The session focused on intellectual property ownership by employees versus contractors, collaborative research agreements, joint ownership of intellectual property, confidentiality, publication and improvements. The session also included a workshop component which explored the different forms of intellectual property in the context of research collaborations within the university environment.
