RBS staff support the Salvation Army’s Adopt-a-Family program

With the help of the RBS staff, the Salvation Army Adopt-a-Family program was able to adopt three single-parent families and provide them with a few Christmas presents and Christmas dinner that they otherwise wouldn’t have had. The response from the families was very touching. The little five year old girl RBS “adopted” showed her thanks with a lovely homemade Christmas scene which was on display in the lunchroom, and the young mother with an 18 month old child gave RBS a heartfelt thank you card.

The Salvation Army Vancouver Community & Family Services helps to create a special Christmas for a Vancouver family in need, by providing a Christmas hamper complete with a full turkey dinner, and toys for the parents and kids coming right to their doorstep! Last year over 400 families were helped throught the program.
