RBS congratulates CDRD and Genome as BC Government invests $39 million

The Centre for Drug Research and Development and Genome British Columbia are leaders in life science research and both have made significant impacts on the importance of human health, among other focuses.

The Centre for Drug Research and Development recieved $29 million in funding from the BC Government.  Genome (BC) receives an additional $10 million.  The announcement was made Tuesday June 19th by the Honourable Michael de Jong, Health Minister during the BIO International Convention, in Boston.  In Vancouver, the Honourable Margaret McDiarmid, Minister of Labour, Citizens’ Services and Open Government, announced the support of the BC Government at another event held at the Centre for Drug Research and Development.

Richards Buell Sutton is proud of the work and accomplishments both these organizations, the CDRD and Genome (BC), have made in the field of life science research.
