Richards Buell Sutton’s Human Resources Manager will serve a one-year term for 2012

At the annual general meeting on March 27th, RBS’ Human Resources Manager, Cindy Hildebrandt, was elected President of the Board of Directors for the British Columbia Legal Management Association for 2012. Cindy has been an active member of BCLMA for more than 10 years and has been a Director and Secretary for the association since 2009.

Cindy has been the Human Resources Manager with Richards Buell Sutton LLP for five years, prior to that she held a similar position at a larger regional firm and has been part of the legal industry for 19 years.  For the last 12 years, Cindy has been the President of a not-for-profit society here in BC, that has raised over a half million dollars (CAD) for educational and medical causes in Jamaica.

According to the BCLMA website: “The British Columbia Legal Management Association (BCLMA) (formerly known as VALA) was founded in 1972. We are a non-profit organization with more than 340 Representatives and Affiliates acting for more than 115 law firms from across BC. More than 80 percent of our members work in small law firms (firms with 15 or fewer lawyers).”
