Canada 150 and a RBS Connection to Confederation

In 1863, our founder, Albert Norton Richards, was appointed Solicitor General for Upper Canada and was returned for re-election in his constituency of South Leeds. He lost to John A. MacDonald by 75 votes, and in history books, it is stated that this election win for Sir John A.
