Cycling is the fastest growing mode of transportation in Metro Vancouver, however, the biggest deterrent is fear for their safety on the roads. Bike fatalities in our city is far greater than those in European Cities, and David Hay, K.C., Chair of the Bike Safety Law Reform Group, discusses how a reform of the Motor Vehicle Act can provide further safety to both cyclists and pedestrians.
