OVERVIEW
Kyusik joined Richards Buell Sutton in May 2023 as a summer student and returned to article after graduating from the Peter A. Allard School of Law.
Born and raised in South Korea, Kyusik came to Vancouver when he was 16. He obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree from The University of British Columbia with a major in Psychology.
During his post-secondary education, Kyusik studied abroad at the University of Edinburgh and the National University of Singapore.
Before joining RBS, Kyusik volunteered for the Law Students’ Legal Advice Program (LSLAP) and worked as a legal intern at a boutique criminal law firm in Vancouver.
As a Korean citizen, he duly served his military duty as an infantry division leader in 2021 and 2022. He received a Ministerial Commendation from the Minister of Korean National Defence for outstanding performance during his military service.
Outside of the office, Kyusik enjoys playing baseball with the Asian community, writing journals, and exploring new cultures.
