Aivrey McKinley

OVERVIEW

Aivrey joined the firm in May 2024 as a summer student and will be returning to article after finishing her law degree at the University of Victoria in 2025

She obtained an Honours Bachelor of Arts Degree from McMaster University with a major in Justice, Political Philosophy, and Law. At McMaster, Aivrey founded an undergraduate law review and competed in varsity swimming.

During law school, Aivrey volunteered for Pro Bono Students Canada where she conducted legal research for the Canadian Civil Liberties Association and the Victoria Sexual Assault Centre. Before joining RBS, Aivrey worked as an intern in the Membership Experience department at Vancouver Canucks Sports & Entertainment.

Outside of the office, Aivrey enjoys making macarons (a French-inspired pastry), swimming recreationally, travelling across the globe to go puffin watching, and walking her cats.
