OVERVIEW
Jade Harvey joined RBS as a litigation paralegal in early 2022, managing all aspects of personal injury and civil litigation including file management, preparation of pleadings, court applications, trial preparation, and legal research.
Jade is on maternity leave until December, 2024.
She began her legal career in 2014 at an insurance defence firm in her hometown of Newcastle, Australia and has since worked in a variety of practice groups, including personal injury, employment, labour, human rights, and medical negligence.
Jade has a Graduate Diploma in Legal Studies from the University of New England, and is completing the final year of her undergraduate degree in classical studies specializing in Greek and Roman history, working toward admission into a JD program.
She volunteers with Amici Curiae and has been involved with Young Women in Business as a newsletter editor. She participates in courses through the Continuing Legal Education Society of British Columbia, the BC Paralegals Association, and the Trial Lawyers Association of BC, as well as maintaining her status as a voting member with the BC Paralegal Association and a non-voting member of the Trial Lawyers Association of BC. In what remains of her spare time, she can be found at the beach with her partner, or entertaining her growing menagerie of three cats and a snake.
