Veronika Florianova

OVERVIEW

Veronika is a lawyer in the firm’s Estate and Wealth Advisory Group. She specializes in providing tailored estate planning solutions to suit her clients’ individual needs. Veronika guides her clients through the legal complexities with empathy, compassion and sensitivity while fostering trusting and supportive relationships throughout the process.

Before joining Richards Buell Sutton in 2024, Veronika articled at a large national law firm. She later established and operated her own boutique law firm in downtown Vancouver where she practiced wills and estates, real estate, and corporate commercial law.

Veronika journeyed to Vancouver in 1999 upon completing high school in the Czech Republic. She was so captivated by the breathtaking beauty of the natural landscapes of British Columbia that she chose to make it her home. She attended the University of British Columbia for both her undergraduate degree with a major in psychology, and law school.

Outside of law, Veronika pursues lifelong learning in areas she’s curious about including philosophy, science, history, music, and art. On Friday nights, she is a regular at the Vancouver Planetarium discovering the secrets of the universe.

Veronika has always been involved in her community, and is a mentor to young professionals. An accomplished competitive diver, she won a bronze medal in the National Czech Republic Championship before she moved to Canada. An adoring mother to two girls and two boys, Veronika’s happiest moments are big family dinners filled with stories and laughter.

• Proficiently guiding clients through the comprehensive process of estate administration, including obtaining Grants of Probate and Grants of Administration
