Conquering from Sea to Sky with you!

Richards Buell Sutton is proud to support and be part of the 2011 RBC GranFondo Whistler on Saturday September 10th, 2011.

Over 45 RBS members, their family and friends will be on the start line to cheer on the 7000+ riders that will be leaving the density of downtown Vancouver shortly after dawn, stream across the Lions Gate Bridge, challenge up Taylor Way and hit the scenic Sea to Sky highway all the way to Whistler.  This is truly a one of a kind event for the Vancouver community and we are thrilled to support the riders in any way.

Not to be left out, RBS has a team that will be on their bikes challenging themselves to complete the 120km course.  Jim, Margot, Randy and Michal have been training for months; enduring setbacks and conquering new distances in an effort to make it to Whistler by their own power.

What is a GranFondo?  They “are mass participation cycling events that have enjoyed incredible popularity in Europe for decades.  Loosely translated from Italian, GranFondo means ‘big ride’.  Rides are often 100 km or more and often offer steep climbs, long distances or a combination of the two.”  For further information check out the 2011 RBC GranFondo Whistler site.
