Personal Injury Lawyers, Michelle A. Quinn and Julie Facchin pictured at the BC Active Transportation Summit today with Erin O’Melinn (HUB Cycling), presenting a poster session outlining the need for new legislation to protect our most vulnerable road users – those walking and cycling.
Members of our Personal Injury Group attended both days of the two day Summit, with Practice Group Leader David Hay Q.C. and Ola Stoklosa presenting a poster session yesterday.
Richards Buell Sutton LLP has supported cycling advocacy for many years. David Hay Q.C., is Chair and Julie Facchin is Secretary of the Road Safety Law Reform Group, fighting for legislative and infrastructure change to support cyclists. Our PI team are also regularly consulted by injured cyclists, cycling advocacy groups, private and non-private organizations, and various media outlets on issues affecting the cycling population in BC.
