The Canadian Bar Association (CBABC) Employment Law Section Meeting, hosted at the offices of Richards Buell Sutton, will discuss ethical considerations that arise when the departing employee is accused of misappropriation of confidential information, wrongful solicitation and/or wrongful competition. The Honourable Justice Walker will also provide the court’s perspective on disclosure and ethical obligations of counsel for an employer, when applications are brought without notice seeking injunctive relief, including Anton Pillar Orders, against former employees accused of misappropriation of confidential information, wrongful solicitation and/or wrongful competition.
